Plan it BEFORE you dig it
In Alberta, all residences are required to have a planned septic system. Some tend to be easier than others, but when site construction is unusual or complicated, look to Acreage Development Solutions (ADS) for professional, proven expertise. ADS is a family run development contracting company with over 30 years “in the dirt”. We install driveways, excavate basements, and install water systems, but we specialize in septic system design and installation. No septic system is too far out of reach. Most of our installs are third-party designed; and we do this for a reason, it holds all parties to the utmost moral standards and ensures accountability across the board. From single family cabins to rural developments, to campgrounds, ADS has you covered. We take pride in not only completing your project, but we also offer service long after your project is complete.
ADS has you covered…underground
We offer several different aspects in our contracting services:
- Experienced consultation services and design aid
- Perfectionist quality installations
- Safety with verifiable success, we’ve partnered with Cremers Safety, Ltd.
- Help us reach our COR certification: awarded to employers who develop health and safety programs that meet strict safety standards set out by Alberta Labour
- Backfilling, finish grading, spreading topsoil, general clean up and seeding leave your acreage looking tidy and welcoming
- We’re there to pump and haul too – the sludge that’s leftover from normal household use (soap scum, waste) needs to be removed from your septic tank every few years and transported to where it can be safely disposed
- Regular maintenance and service checks to keep you running smoothly
Place Quality over Quantity
The professionals at ADS have been designing, installing and maintaining septic tank systems for more than 30 years. We aren’t the best because we are the cheapest. We are the best and maintain our reputation by putting quality over cost. A septic system is a long-term investment that takes skill, craftsmanship and expertise to install right the first time. The other guys might be cheaper, but they sure aren’t better. We live and service the same areas of this country we call home. The needs of rural America depend on someone who has their finger on the pulse of what we do every day. Tell us more about your project. Then lets us tell you how to do it right the first time with ADS.
Tell Us about the Septic System you Need
We enjoy a challenge – often we are the first and only number clients call for hard to reach areas or difficult locations. We push ourselves so your system won’t push back. We use cutting-edge technology and are experts in new developments in septic design and function. Completed the form below or give us a call at 403-815-0004.
If the job’s not done right, your home will let you know
There are some things you can do “on the cheap” and some things never to cut corners on. Septic design, installation, and maintenance is the second. Imagine a “discount tank” backing up into your home… overflowing onto the floor of your business. ADS will design and install is correctly and completely so that doesn’t happen. Back ups are the most common failure from bad system design, but there are other less obvious failures like puddles appearing on the ground or contamination of water wells due to pathogens from the sewage. Call a professional if you see any unusual flooding on the ground.
One of the least visible and most hazardous is a system that was improperly installed in porous earth (think soil comprised of small parts and many small holes, or bubbles, that aren’t completely solid). The sewage doesn’t have time to undergo proper treatment, so hazardous and toxic material leach into the water table. Expert design and installation takes the type and quality of soil into consideration so that you don’t have these problems.
The Only Bad Septic Question is the One You Don’t Ask
Don’t waste time and energy elsewhere. Quality is worth its weight in gold. Tell us how we can help you better serve the needs of your project. Complete our quick online form and ADS will call you to discuss our quality options with you. We know you have questions and we have all the answers.

Yes, currently in Alberta homeowners can complete and submit there own design for their own personal residence, but not for rental, commercial or investment properties.
HOWEVER there is a very strict system in place that requires a great deal of education and skill in order to fill the forms out correctly, all of which a permitting agency will quickly turn down if not correctly completed.
