How Can We Help With Your Fence?

ADS works with clients surrounding the Calgary areas by providing outstanding solutions, installation, and maintenance of your new fencing system. We work with small homeowners to land developers with multi-acre lots. At ADS we specialize in providing fencing solutions to rural properties. Hey, we live here too, so we fully understand the importance a solid fence has. The fence must be anchored to your property to provide years of stable and durable use.

Our installation services can be of great benefit to farm owners, homeowners with large acreages, and large-scale developers of campsites and other rural developments. It’s no mystery that when you are in a rural area especially in the foothills, there are many reasons to put up a good fence. It’s not often just for looks, fences serve an important purpose when it comes to keeping things in or out. We get that looking at a majestic moose is truly impressive, but less impressive when they are standing in your petunia patch.

What to Avoid When Putting Up Fencing

The chances are you need a large scale fencing installation. Your property isn’t nestled in a quaint little lot, where your eaves troughs are touching your neighbor’s house. Even though we service customers of all sizes many of our clients here at ADS have large scale developments. A fencing installation for a chunk of land is quite different from that of a small residential home in the big city. We will come out to your property, survey the land, then determine what is beneath the ground and make sure we provide the proper foundation for your fence to be installed upon.

Without dating ourselves in a bad way, ADS has more than 30 years of industry knowledge and expertise. We have a solid reputation in the foothills around Calgary of getting things done right the first time.

While still being young and hip enough to know the latest in fencing technology and techniques. In order to secure the fence, in many cases, we will have to excavate down to a certain depth. If not done properly, can be disastrous. Which is why as an excavation company this is a nice little niche service we can provide. When you excavate, you need to limit the number of times you open up the ground. Due to the fact that each time you excavate, it becomes less stable and more difficult for the fence to stay in place. Can you really afford to do the job twice? Call ADS today for a free estimate and see how quality can really outshine quantity. Fencing for your property is a serious long-term investment that needs to be done by the friendly, neighbourhood professional experts of ADS.

Got questions? Here are some answers to some of the most common ones.

We have “Solution” in our name for a reason – we help with your ruggedest dirt work. If you can’t find the answer you’re looking for here, we can still help you.

What type of gravel do you use for site prep?

It's typical to use 3/4" crush gravel, in some cases the ground requires larger material and others smaller. We always assess the soil at your site to determine what is best.

Why gravel?

Can't you just use dirt? In most cases, the ground below is dirt from site but there is always a layer of gravel recommended to “lock” everything together and create a stable base for whatever sits on top of it.

Can you install outbuildings in winter?

Most of the time yes, we have built several pads in cold weather with roaring success - give us a call and we'll come out for a site visit.

Do you have equipment for finish grade or placing footing?

You bet we do! ADS uses state of the art, laser-guided machines for millimeter accuracy in placing gravel, limestone dust, arena footing and pretty much any granular material.

Do you regrade riding arenas to level existing footing?

Absolutely! We have equipment specifically set up for re-leveling horse arenas that have rutted up over time. It's more common than you think!
